Black Site iPhone 4 Bumper
Our solid carbon fiber iPhone bumper.
CNC machined from solid blocks of our 670 2x2 Twill Carbon Fiber and hand finished. Our 670 Carbon material is a quasi
isotropic lay up combined with our proprietary epoxy via the VARTM manufacturing method for excellent structural
properties in all directions and highly detailed machining results due to no voids or pits within the material. This
670 material can also withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees. Our manufacturing process involves four hours
of Computerized cutting and another hour of hand finishing, the end result is an extremely strong and rugged bumper that can
withstand scratches and dings. The bumpers interior is lined with a rubber
coating for shock absorbsion and to minimize any signal interference. The Aurora comes with a custom case that is also
machined from solid blocks of our 670 material, it includes a Torx driver and extra screws. Bumper is assembled
on each corner with two screws and fits tightly around the iPhone. As with all carbon fiber Iphone cases and bumpers
this does mildly lower reception so if you have a weak signal already this case is not recommended.
